Procedure of Becoming a LIC Agent

Note :After Qualifying in exam , Interview will be conducted at LIC Branch



Agent Eligibility Criteria :
✔ Minimum S.S.C. Passed
✔ Age 18 Years & Above.

Photocopy of :

  • 3 color Passport size photos
  • Education certificate ( SSC / HSC)
  • Pan Card
  • Address Proof
    ( Adhar Card /Light Bill/Bank Passbook)
  • Bank Details (Bank Passbook Front Page / Cancel Cheque)

  Fees

  • After Training You are Now ready For Exam
  • IRDA License Exam Fees 500/- Compulsory
  • Pay fees Online From IRDA Exam Portal and Book Exam Seat As per Your Wish

  Registration

  • First Submit Your All Document to Us
  • Get Register with LIC for agency Process and Fill-up Forms
  • Collect Material For Study and Get Ready For Training
  • When You Will Received URN From LIC your Registration Process will get complete


  Training

  • After successful of Registration, You have to go for online or offline training, and after completion of training you will get the certificate
  • Training will be for 25 hours and covers all aspects of life insurance business.

  Exam

  • After successful of Completion of training, you will have to sit for pre-licensing online Examination conducted by the insurance regulatory and development authority (IRDA).
  • Exam will be of 50 marks and question will be objective.
  • You have to get 18 marks to pass exam.

  License

  • After successful Completion of the examination and You pass the Exam Interview will be conducted at LIC Branch
  • You will awarded an Appointment Letter by the IRDA to work as an insurance agent.
  • You will be appointed as an agent by the branch office and you will be a part of the team under development officer.
